Booking and Payment Terms & Conditions
  1. Fynbos villa & Guest House is a business in the hospitality industry that provide accommodation.

  2. Thank you for making a reservation with Fynbos Villa & Guest House. As soon as you have made a reservation you will receive an email with an invoice from us. This will have a reference number and the deposit amount required in order to confirm your reservation. This will have a link to a 3D secure payment gateway approved by Masterpass and Visa which you can use to make a payment. You will be required to enter your reference number and the amount. Then you will be required to enter your card details and on payment request your bank will send you a One Time Pin that you need to enter in order to complete the transaction successfully.

  3. The provision of goods and services by Fynbos Villa Guest House is subject to availability. In case of unavailability, Fynbos Villa Guest House will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to date of arrival will receive a full refund within 7 days of cancellation made, cancellations made within 14 days prior to date of arrival will be charged a 100% cancellation fee to the value of the booking made. 

  4. Fynbos Villa & guest House shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).   5. Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the Fynbos Villa Guest House bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.

  6. Card transactions will be acquired for Fynbos Villa Guest House via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.

  7. Customer details will be stored by Fynbos Villa Guest House separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

  8. The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

  9. Fynbos Villa Guest House takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

  10. This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Fynbos Villa Guest House chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, 14 Neethling Street, Stellenbosch .

  11. Fynbos Villa Guest House may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

  12. This website is run by Fynbos Gaste Huis bk (close corporation) based in South Africa trading as Fynbos Villa Guest House and with registration number 2002/029634/23 and Jakob Dekker, Elina Dekker(Members).

  13. At no stage do we store any of your card details as this is passed securely through the Payment Gateway as per international privacy standards.

Deposits

Reservations made need to be confirmed within 48 hours by paying the required deposit, failure to pay the deposit may result in the reservation being cancelled without prior notice. The balance is payable on arrival.

Cancellations

Cancellations or amendments need to be emailed to info@fynbosguesthouse.co.za, an cancellation for individual rooms more than 14 days prior to date of arrival will be cancelled free of charged, cancellations made within 14 days prior to date of arrival will be charged a 100% cancellation fee. 

Refunds

Should your cancellation be made within the free cancellation period we will do a refund within 7 days of receiving the cancellation request from you.
