Winelands Bridal Fair (27 July- 28 July 2013)

The perfect occasion for brides and grooms to get ideas for their big day. On display will be a host of exhibitions from designers, flower artists, event co- coordinators, photographers, cake specialists and jewellers to name a few.  The setting for this spectacular event is the stunning Spier Wine Estate just outside of Stellenbosch.

The Capes finest specialist wedding and event companies will be showcasing some of their new designs during the daily fashion shows. The event will also see live music throughout the course of the day as well as a massive bridal competition with a chance to win a wedding valued at over R150 000. So make a day of it and make sure you get to Spier Wine Estate for 2 great days.

Delheim’s Jazzy Cheese Fondue (From July 7th)

What better way to spend you Sunday afternoon than indulging in a cheesy fondue while enjoying the sweet sounds of local jazz. You will be treated to a warm and comfortable environment in the downstairs cellar of Delheim wine farm.Market Goodness

Grape Day Out (August 3rd)

In early August, Stellenbosch hosts a fashion and wine event sure to leave those taste bugs tingling. The stylish event encourages guests to dress up accordingly as there is a ‘Best Dressed’ competition at the inaugural event.

Die Burger Mountain Bike Challenge (August 3rd)

Now in its eighth year, the mountain bike challenge will also host a trail run set to take place on the Sunday (the mountain bike challenge is on Saturday). This year’s event will see 5 routes available to cater for all levels of riding:

  • A 15km fun ride
  • A 30km more challenging fun rider
  • A 42km challenge for intermediate riders
  • A 60 km challenge for advanced rider
  • A 75 km for the ultra- fit

Riders will have the opportunity to pass through more than 60 farms in the area and some of the most beautiful terrain in the country.
